About Us
At Duhaney Park Gospel Assembly, our Children’s Ministry is dedicated to planting seeds of faith, love, and purpose in the hearts of our youngest members. We create a fun, safe, and Christ-centered environment where children from ages 3 to 17 can grow spiritually, discover their gifts, and build a personal relationship with God.
Our ministry includes Junior Church, Sunday School, and a variety of impactful annual events designed to teach the Word, encourage creativity, and foster fellowship among our children and youth.
Annual Highlights
Junior Church:
Ages 3–12, every 2nd & 4th Sunday during main service
Sunday School:
Starts at 9:30 AM every Sunday
Classes for ages 3–17
Children’s Sunday (4th Sunday in May):
A special service where we invite schools from our community to share in ministry through songs, poems, and other presentations. This is a powerful opportunity to evangelize and connect with young lives beyond our walls.
DVBS – Daily Vacation Bible School (July/August):
A one-week, power-packed summer program for ages 3–17, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM daily. Children enjoy Bible lessons, crafts, games, music, and lunch is provided each day.
AGA Sunday School Rally (November):
Each year, we represent at the Assemblies of God Association (AGA) Rally, competing in exciting categories such as Bible quiz, mini sermons, culinary arts, dub poetry, posters/banners, choir, and more!
Sunday School Anniversary (December):
Our year-end celebration where each class presents a special item. This event is led by the students themselves and includes an awards ceremony to recognize outstanding participation, growth, and acts of kindness throughout the year.
We believe in nurturing young lives with the truth of God’s Word while helping them discover their identity in Christ. Through engaging lessons, exciting activities, and meaningful relationships, our Children's Ministry is shaping the next generation of kingdom leaders.
